River Landing

Description

Massive redevelopment project in downtown Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. River Landing is a three-phase, $300-million, mixed-use complex which includes condominiums and two office buildings including the Nutrien Tower, an 18-story, 88-metre office tower which is the tallest building in Saskatchewan. The building will also feature 3.5 underground levels of parking. Amenity areas include fitness, conference space, and a winter garden on the rooftop for the tenants. Canem Systems supplied the electrical, communication, and security systems in-house.

Canem supplied and installed the following complete and fully integrated systems including: Lightning Protection, Distribution and Switchgear, Emergency Generator and Power Distribution, Motor Starters, Panels and Controls, Fire Alarm, Communication and Data, Access Control, Video Surveillance, and All Exterior and Interior Lighting And Controls.

Canem installed strips of LED lighting throughout the building envelope which creates a beautiful display at night. Security and access control were also installed for the entire River Landing development. Nutrien Tower (88 meters) is the tallest building in Saskatchewan. Canem installed exterior lighting on the buildings and plaza. Canem had to use rope access and a swing stage to scale the side of the building for the installation of the exterior lighting.

River Landing was a major endeavor that showcased the scale and complexity of a project successfully executed and delivered by the Canem Saskatchewan team.
