The Minoru Centre for Active Living consisted of a new 68,000 sq. ft. Active Living Facility, and a 33,000 sq. ft. Seniors Centre. The facility offers an Aquatic Centre which includes six bodies of water and a 8,500 sq ft Fitness Centre overlooking the running track. Construction met (LEED®) Gold standards and post disaster BC Building Code requirements. Canem supplied and installed the following complete and fully integrated systems:  medium voltage, distribution and switchgear, emergency generator and power distribution, motor starters, panels and controls, fire alarm, data communications, all exterior and interior lighting, and controls.
