The NexSource Centre project was the expansion and renovation of the existing recreation centre consisting of an aquatic centre and ice arena. The addition included an additional ice arena, five curling sheets, community centre, and several multipurpose rooms. The renovation included an extensive structural repair and face lift of the existing aquatic centre and some systems upgrades throughout the rest of the existing facility including the fire alarm and security system. Canem supplied and installed the following complete and fully integrated systems: distribution and switchgear, motor starters, panels and controls, fire alarm, voice data communications, access control, video surveillance, all exterior and interior lighting and control.
